Razan El Badaoui is responsible for cultivating and sustaining an empowering, inclusive, and rewarding corporate culture at Crescent Petroleum. Her role encompasses a broad spectrum of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, internal communications, and the organisation of company-wide events. She also plays a key role in shaping and enhancing employee policies.
Razan was instrumental in launching the human resource initiatives of both Crescent Petroleum and Dana Gas in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, supporting the companies’ growth in the region through strategic HR leadership.
With over 38 years of international experience, Razan’s career spans multiple sectors, including oil and gas, banking and investment, real estate, media, and education. She joined Crescent Petroleum in 2000, following her roles in the Human Resources Department at Kuwait International Bank and the administrative division of Barakat Real Estate Co. in the United States.
Razan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Kuwait University. In addition to her professional achievements, she has served three years as a mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, offering guidance and support to aspiring women entrepreneurs across the Middle East.
