Sustainability

Crescent Petroleum is a privately owned regional upstream and midstream oil and gas company with over 50 years of experience unlocking the untapped resources of the MENA region.

Operations

As the largest private investor and producer of natural gas in Iraq, we fuel over 85% of the electricity generated in the Kurdistan Region from production at the Khor Mor field. We are also developing a major new gas field in Diyala Governorate to further expand domestic supply, in addition to an exploration block in Basra governorate in southern Iraq.

Joint Venture Partners

Crescent Petroleum is a 35% shareholders in the Pearl Petroleum consortium which owns the Khor Mor gas plant together with Dana Gas (35%), OMV (10%), RWE (10%), and MOL (10%).

Management

Crescent Petroleum’s Executive Committee (EXCOM), comprised of seasoned energy executives, is responsible for overseeing strategy and decision making, evaluating strategic planning and mission, establishing capital management guidelines, and setting company policies.
