Narik Basmajian leads project development, commercial strategy, and stakeholder management, with responsibility for originating, structuring, and commercializing projects, as well as overseeing projects implementation. His focus is on creating value through strategic partnerships, commercial negotiations, and successful project development.
Narik Basmajian brings over 25 years of international energy industry experience across oil and gas, energy transition, low-carbon solutions, and hydrogen. His expertise encompasses commercial strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, project acquisition, and project development. Before joining Crescent Petroleum in 2022, he held progressively senior leadership roles at Technip Energies, including Vice President, where he led commercial growth initiatives and strategic project pursuits. He started his career as a Gas Lift & Reservoir Engineer with ExxonMobil, combining deep technical knowledge with extensive commercial and business leadership experience.
Narik holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
